Book is free to cancer patients and cancer-related
organizations
A new book from the WHO Foundation helps women undergoing or recovering from
cancer treatment. “Women Helping Others” is a unique, interactive
resource tool designed to enlighten, encourage and empower women along their
journey to recovery. The book:
- Enlightens women with hard-to-find image and beauty solutions for those undergoing the affects of radiation and/or chemotherapy
- Encourages women through positive affirmations and exercises
- Empowers them through a series of interactive activities such as “building my support team” and “questions for my doctor.”
The book is the result of a collaborative effort between the WHO Foundation, members of Gilda’s Club® North Texas, Baylor Medical Center, and BeautiControl® Associates and Independent Directors and Consultants.

To order copies
The WHO book is available free of charge to cancer patients and cancer organizations. For cancer patients, please mail or fax your request to the address below. If you are an organization please mail or fax your request on your company’s stationery. For all others, a $5 donation per book is suggested to cover the cost of the book plus shipping and handling. All proceeds from the book will be donated by the WHO Foundation to charities and organizations that support awareness in health and education issues for women and children.
